Eagle Camp

Campers entering 4th & 5th grade

Participants in Eagle camp will find their skill development being pushed further within activities: this is across the board, in arts & crafts, canoeing and kayaking, sports, etc. All activity counselors plan with higher expectations for older campers. We are always excited to watch these campers rise up to meet these higher expectations, and often exceed them. Eagle camp incorporates all our camp activities, tailored to the age of the group as well as the addition of Choice on Fridays and staying for the famous Sewataro overnights.

Supervisor: Brad Carlson (please visit our Meet the Staff page to learn more about Brad).

My son has been begging to go to camp for six weeks and finally this year, circumstances allowed that. These past six weeks have been filled with the “magic” of what makes camp and Sewataro so special. The counselors were amazing – perfect for a group of energetic and fun boys – I hope that you all know how great they are! And the friends he was with were terrific. What I love the most and what I think my kids also appreciate is that Sewataro is the same – and even better every year. I love knowing that my kids will have a “traditional” summer camp experience and that the new things you add each year only enrich what is already so great. This year, my son even LOVED the vegetable garden – he does NOT eat vegetables – but shared with me that he LOVES the organic, fresh picked cucumbers and zucchini. I think I am making a garden next year!

So, thank you for all that you do every summer and throughout the year to preserve the magic, to retain incredible staff and to make each summer the “best summer ever”!
