Emily is awake, alive, alert and super enthusiastic for her 6th summer on staff (and 10th overall year at Sewataro)! After many years of being a beloved Eagle Group Leader, Emily returns for her second year on our fantastic team of C.I.T. leaders.
“I am so excited to be working with the CITs again this summer! One of my favorite parts of past summers was always having a CIT join my group for a week.” Emily said. “I love working with the CIT’s and watching them grow and gain more confidence as a counselor over the course of the summer.”
Emily appreciates the “unplugged” nature of camp, and feels campers (and staff members!) can cultivate more authentic friendships simply by being together, “screen-free,” in the great outdoors. Emily’s favorite Sewataro Traditions are Friday Special Events, the Camper Car Wash, and the entire Sewataro community. :)
Emily is a graduate of Skidmore College, where she double majored in Education and Psychology, and is now working towards her Masters in Literacy and Language at Framingham State. During the school year, Emily is also an an educational assistant at Chickering in Dover, MA. Emily hails from Waltham, and enjoys photography, making friendship bracelets and gimp, baking, and spending time with her friends and family.
