One Bear Group Leader spot left!

The Group Leader is the focal point for the individual camper (4th-5th grade).

Our campers are grouped by gender, rising grade level, and length of camp session. The Group Leader is the central counselor in charge of the group. The Group Leader has the most day-to-day contact with his/her individual campers and is the person looked to as the most knowledgeable about camper personalities and group dynamics. The Group Leader takes a group of individual children and creates a dynamic camper community.

Group Leaders guide their campers through the daily schedule, assist and support Activity Counselors at activities, and assist/teach on the waterfront when the group is at swimming. Leadership, management, organization, attention to detail, and enthusiasm are all requisite skills for this position. Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:15 PM
