Extended Day

Care provided before and after the camp day

Our Extended Day program is child care provided before and after the regular camp day. The program is designed to be a safe and convenient option for parents with challenging schedules.

In 2021, Extended Day was limited only to those who had no other childcare options. Campers at Extended Day were not able to participate in group activities per usual, and came equipped with (and prepared for) quiet solo activities (books, coloring, etc). Campers were separate from each other, and supervised from a distance (at least 6 feet). We continue to await guidance from state and local officials to determine what Extended Day will look like in 2022.

If you will need to use Extended Day on a consistent basis, application and payment is due on May 1. You will be billed by the half hour based on your application schedule.

In 2021, we were only able to offer regularly scheduled Extended Day (no drop ins). We will send more information about our 2022 plans for Extended Day as soon as it becomes available.

We utilize Sewataro counselors for our Extended Day staff.

Extended Day campers are dropped off/picked up by a parent or parent-designate. If you enroll only for the morning or afternoon Extended Day program, one-way bus transportation is available for the opposite morning/afternoon when not enrolled.

You may pack breakfast/snack in your child’s lunch bag to eat during the morning/afternoon.

Please Note: Extended Day will not be available in the afternoon on Friday, August 19—the final day of camp.
