Sewataro is about 20 miles west of Boston
There are two buses that serve Boston:
- Cheers Restaurant (84 Beacon Street)
- Reflection Pool (205 Huntington Ave)
- Columbus Ave and Chandler St
In addition to these stops, we have a stop in Charlestown at the Whole Foods parking lot on Austin St.
From the stops in Boston, the buses travel directly to camp. The buses arrive at camp around 8:30 a.m. and depart around 3:45 p.m. (Exact bus stop times will be sent out two weeks prior to the start of each session.)
You will be greeted at the stop by a bus monitor. Bus monitors are Sewataro staff members that are responsible for the safety, supervision and entertainment of the children on the bus. During the bus ride, monitors will lead songs and games, making the ride an extension of the camp day. At the end of the day, the bus monitor will check your identification against a list of grownups authorized to pick up your child before releasing your child to you.
I can’t take enough opportunities to recognize how well Jackie runs Bus 1- such a challenging job, but she connects and knows each of the campers on the bus- always keeps them organized, engaged, and having fun.
