Drama

“All the world’s a stage” as Shakespeare famously said, and at Sewataro, Drama allows campers to participate in games and activities that put them and their group mates into acting roles. Drama is an opportunity for campers to use their imaginations, take safe risks by being “on stage” in front of a group, work together to plan and perform, learn improvisational techniques, and develop the skills to be an appreciative audience. These activities help develop cooperation and confidence through a creative process where each camper is a valued and important member of the group. The sounds of laughter can often be heard emanating from Liberty Lodge, where this beloved activity is held!
