Sprouts are picked up by a parent in the afternoon

PICK UP IN THE AFTERNOON

  1. Please remember your PD Identification Card!
  2. Arrive at the Greystone Lane entrance between 12:30 and 12:40. Directions to Greystone Lane entrance: Turn onto Julian’s Way, between the main camp entrance and the Haynes School. Follow Julian’s Way to the end, then take a right onto Greystone Lane. Follow Greystone Lane to the end. Right before the fence gate, there is a turn-around on the right. Enter the first entrance of the turn-around and stop at the turn-around exit.
  3. No idling please. Shut off your motor and wait in your car.
  4. The gate will be opened at 12:30.
  5. For safety reasons, counselors will only load your car from the passenger side. Please plan ahead with seating arrangements.
  6. To expedite the loading process, please remain in your car and allow the counselor to help your child in.
  7. The gate is closed at 12:45. If you arrive after 12:45 and find the gate closed, please go back to Haynes Rd., come in the camp driveway and stop at Camp Headquarters. Please try to be on time!

Sprouts can arrive with siblings on the bus or as regular parent drivers in the morning. If a Sprout camper doesn’t have a sibling, than the following procedure is to be used:

DROP-OFF IN THE MORNING

  1. Arrive at the Greystone Lane entrance between 8:35 and 8:45. Directions to Greystone Lane entrance: Turn onto Julian’s Way, between the main camp entrance and the Haynes School. Follow Julian’s Way to the end, then take a right onto Greystone Lane. Follow Greystone Lane to the end. Right before the fence gate, there is a turn-around on the right. Enter the first entrance of the turn-around and stop at the turn-around exit.
  2. Please remember your PD Identification Card in the windshield.
  3. For safety reasons, counselors will only unload your car from the passenger side. Please plan ahead with seating arrangements.
  4. Have your child remain in the car until a counselor opens the door and greets your child. To expedite the unloading process, please remain in your car and allow the counselor to help your child out.
