Sonia Prince

Sonia is a graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional H.S., and a rising junior in the Curry College nursing program. This is Sonia’s third year on staff (her seventh year total at Camp Sewataro), and this year she joins us as the Nurse’s Assistant. “I’m so exited that I can work in my field and get experience for my career while staying at camp. Since the first year I was a camper, Sewataro has been one of my favorite places on earth, and I’m so happy that there’s a place for me to do what I’m passionate about there.” Sonia recently earned her CNA (certified nursing assistant) licence and hopes to be either a neo-natal or pediatric nurse upon graduation.

Sonia’s favorite part about camp is that “anyone who comes here immediately feels at home. Some of my closest friends are people I met at camp, both as a camper and a counselor.” In her free time, Sonia teaches dance and coaches cheerleading and also works at the Metrowest free medical clinic (along with her brother Bailey, another Sewataro counselor). Sonia also does a lot of scuba diving and skiing, and loves to travel – “I’ve been to 6/7 continents and almost 30 countries!”
