“I (always have) an amazing time at Sewataro, and I can’t wait to be back!” We feel the same way about Molly Cohen, who joins us for her 6th summer as Fox Tribe Leader. Molly is a graduate of Boston University’s School of Education, where she earned her Master’s degree in Elementary Education. (She also earned her Bachelor’s degree from BU, with a concentration in Severe Special Education.) Molly always knew that she wanted to work with children. “I knew I wanted to be a teacher since I was in first grade,” she says. Molly is now a second grade teacher in Wayland.

After spending many childhood summers at various types of camps (soccer, tennis, art, theater, you name it!), Molly went on to become a CIT and then a counselor at Sudbury’s town camp. The combination of working with children and being outside during the summer are what have led to Molly’s deep love and appreciation of the summer camp experience. And as for her favorite Sewataro Tradition: “…that would have to be Friday Special Events…they are always so exciting!”

Molly is a 2015 graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional H.S. She enjoys singing, drawing, painting, community service work (she’s been on two Habitat for Humanity trips), and baking chocolate chip cookies. And fun fact: Molly was on a commercial for Honey Pot Orchard when she was 8!
