Laine is back, and she is very psyched for more Sprouts-style fun, including bear hunts and treasure adventures! “My favorite part of Camp is the friendships campers make with their tribe mates and counselors, as well as the unique activities.”
Laine knows firsthand just how great an impact Sewataro can have on a child, having been a Sewie camper herself for seven summers. As a result, she has made lifelong friendships, and has learned how to step out of her comfort zone; Laine attributes the latter to having been encouraged at activities (including the “hanging vines” on the high ropes course!) by counselors who really cared. She sincerely hopes to give her own campers an equally amazing experience. “I want [campers] to enjoy and appreciate Camp as much as I did, and I hope they never want to leave!” :)
Laine hails from Sudbury, and attends Loomis Chaffee in Windsor, CT, where she is a rising senior. Her hobbies include soccer, lacrosse, and working with children.
