Katie Bettenhauser

Katie’s warm smile and her gentle, compassionate demeanor are always a welcomed (and welcoming) sight around camp. This summer marks her 12th year at Sewataro (seven as a camper, five on our staff), and she’s looking forward to doing what she loves best: “I enjoy helping campers build friendships, and then watching those friendships grow throughout their time at camp. I’m also excited to motivate my campers to try new things,” she says. Katie is a graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional H.S. and a rising sophomore at Providence College studying Elementary and Special Education. Katie is an avid tennis player, and is in the process of starting a club tennis team at her school. She also enjoys babysitting, going on walks/runs with friends, watching movies, and swimming, and participates in community service whenever and wherever she can. Her favorite Sewataro tradition? “Friday Special Events ROCK!” she says.
