Katie Bettenhauser

Katie’s warm smile and her gentle, compassionate demeanor are always a welcomed (and welcoming) sight around camp. This summer marks her 11th year at Sewataro (seven as a camper, four on our staff), and she’s looking forward to doing what she loves best: “I enjoy helping campers build friendships, and then watching those friendships grow throughout their time at camp. I’m also excited to motivate my campers to try new things,” she says. Katie is a senior at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional H.S. She heads off to Providence College this fall, where she plans to study Education and Communications. Katie is an avid tennis player, who participates in community service whenever and wherever she can. She enjoys babysitting, going on walks/runs with friends, watching movies and swimming. Her favorite Sewataro tradition? “Friday Special Events ROCK!” she says.
