Josh returns for his fourth summer at Sewataro, this time as an Activity Head and Adventure Challenge Assistant. “I am excited to lead tribes in team sport activities as that is a huge passion of mine.” Josh coaches golf, basketball, and baseball and teaches 7th and 9th grade Social Studies at Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood.
Josh earned both his undergraduate degree (B.S. Business Management) and Master’s degree (Education) from Providence College, and loves working with children “…both within the classroom and outside at camp.” Josh’s hobbies (and talents) include trivia (“I watch ‘Jeopardy’ every night!”), reading, working out and catching food in his mouth from mid-air. “I’m particularly good with grapes and M&Ms…!”
Josh’s favorite part of camp are the counselors and campers. “This camp is full of great people and I am excited to get back to see old friends and meet new ones.” In fact, Josh will be getting married to another Sewataro counselor (Madeline Racine) on July 1st, although they did not meet at camp! ;-)
