Josh (a.k.a. “Podolsky”) is looking forward to his third summer heading up Sewataro’s tennis program. “I’m excited to pick up where we left off last summer, and also to add some new games to the mix,” he says. Josh is well-known for his kind and easy-going nature, and for his innate ability to connect with campers and staff alike. This summer marks Josh’s 6th on staff, and his record 15th overall Sewie summer. “Sewataro is not just a camp to me. It has always been a safe place for kids to be themselves and have fun, and the traditions stick in my head long after the summer ends.” Josh loves everything about Camp, from seeing the smile on a camper’s face first thing in the morning (“…as they await the fun day ahead of them,”), to the end-of-day Closing Exercises, complete with the still “slightly magical” Green Gizmo. Podolsky’s favorite Sewataro Tradition of all? “Olympics is easily my favorite week of the summer,” he says.
Josh is a rising junior at Clark University, where he’s double majoring in Psychology and Political Science, and plays on the varsity tennis team.
