After three years as the Tennis Assistant, Josh “Podolsky” Podolsky is “SO EXCITED” to be taking over as the Tennis Head this summer. Well-known for his kind and easy-going nature, Josh has an innate ability to relate and connect with campers and staff alike. Josh has “a passion for working with kids,” and is looking forward to writing his own plans for Tennis this year. He also has high hopes that this will be his “favorite summer yet,” though Josh admits it will be hard to top the previous twelve. :-) “Sewataro is not just a camp to me. It has always been a safe place for kids to be themselves and have fun, and the traditions stick in my head long after the summer ends.” Josh loves everything about camp, from seeing the smile on a camper’s face first thing in the morning “as they await the fun day ahead of them,” through to the end-of-day closing exercises and the still “slightly magical” Green Gizmo. Other summer favorites include the Olympics (easily Josh’s favorite week of the summer), Friday special events, and the Wacky Wheel (even though he has received a mega cannon as a result of said wheel). Soon to be a graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional H.S., Josh is excited – “and ready!” – to enter his freshman year at Clark University this Fall. Outside of Sewataro, Josh is a cross country runner, and also enjoys acting and improv at L-S.
