This summer is gonna be HUGE! It’s Jay’s monumental 10th year at Sewataro, and he’s excited for what’s in store. Jay began working at camp when his son Carter (who’s now on staff!) was young, and says it’s the campers, the staff and the entire sense of fun and community that keep him coming back year after year. Jay instructs Target Paintball, Golf and other sports, and he’s also a frequent go-to “actor” for Friday Special Events. “I love putting on a spectacle for Fridays…it’s so fun to watch the campers’ reactions!” During the school year Jay works as an Instructional Assistant (Intensive Learning Program) at Lexington High School. (Incidentally, Jay grew up in Lexington, met his wife Suzanne in Lexington, and it’s where they still live today with Carter, who’s a rising junior at Lexington H.S.) Jay is a man of many talents and interests: He sings and plays drums in a band, loves to coach soccer, is an accomplished model railroad builder, and part owner of a futsal (indoor soccer) club.
