A native of Bedford, England (U.K.) and a graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional H.S., Isobel recently completed her first year at UMass Amherst. She’s on the Exploratory Track in the School of Public Health and hopes to minor in Spanish. Iso loves to run – cross country, track, and simply running around outside are her favorite things to do. She recently ran her first half marathon (on her birthday!) and can’t wait to do more. She’s also passionate about community service work, and while in high school combined that with her love of running. “I was a leader of the Special Olympics Track Program at Lincoln-Sudbury, which gives special needs children of all ages the opportunity to practice field events and running. I enjoyed watching the athletes improve each week.” Isobel is “so excited” to return to camp for her third summer, and first year as a Tribe Leader! “I can’t wait to see all my old campers and meet the new ones! I enjoy helping children grow in all aspects of their lives.” She’s especially looking forward to Friday special events and skits. Fun (and impressive!) Fact: Isobel holds a 3rd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, an accomplishment that took seven years of hard work, discipline and perseverance to achieve!
