Emily returns for her 3rd summer on staff, and 7th overall year at Sewataro. “I can’t think of a better way to spend my summer! I love Camp, and I look forward to it all year long.” Emily especially loves meeting her campers for the first time, and then, “…to [seeing] how the dynamics of the tribe change throughout the summer.” She also appreciates the “unplugged” nature of camp, and feels campers (and staff members!) can cultivate more authentic friendships simply by being together, “screen-free,” in the great outdoors. Emily’s favorite Sewataro Traditions are Friday Special Events, the Camper Car Wash, and the entire Sewataro community. :)
During the school year, Emily is a rising senior at Skidmore College, where she’s double majoring in Education and Psychology. She is a pre-orientation Peer Advisor for incoming freshmen, and this fall she will be student teaching, as well. Emily hails from Southborough, and enjoys photography, making friendship bracelets and gimp, baking, and spending time with her friends and family.
