Dave Corbett (Bear Supervisor)

Dave returns for his 7th Camp season, and he’s BEAR-y excited to see all of the campers and counselors! “It is so rewarding to work with all the tribes and see the campers’ smiling faces as they have the most magical summer possible,” he says. Prior to becoming Bear Section Supervisor last year, Dave was an activity counselor; first at Tennis, and then Fox Tennis/Golf. “Seeing all the camp spirit that exists at Sewataro each day has always made camp a special place for me. I have always tried to make each day at camp the best possible experience for every camper I see.” Some of Dave’s favorite Camp memories include Friday Special Events. :)

During the school year, Dave is a fourth grade teaching assistant at Robin Hood Elementary School in Stoneham, (which also happens to be his hometown), and a track coach at Stoneham High School. He received his BFA from Roger Williams University in Elementary Education and Creative Writing, and his Master’s Degree from Salem State University in Elementary Education.

Running is Dave’s passion, and one of his life’s goals is to run a marathon in each state. He just completed state #26 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and he’s already gearing up for the Glass City Marathon in Toledo, Ohio, this spring. Go Dave!
