Dave Corbett (Bear Section)

Dave returns for his sixth summer at Camp Sewataro and his first as the Bear Section Supervisor! Dave is looking forward to getting to know all the campers and counselors in the Bear Section – “It is going to be so rewarding to work with all the tribes and see the campers’ smiling faces as they have the most magical summer possible.”

In past summers, Dave has been an activity counselor for campers of all ages. “Seeing all the camp spirit that exists at Sewataro each day has always made camp a special place for me. I have always tried to make each day at camp the best possible experience for every camper I see.” Some of Dave’s favorite experiences at camp are the Friday Special Events. He has found that “the special events are always an amazing time to bond with your tribe and share in the excitement of the day!”

During the year, Dave works as a fifth grade teacher at the St. Rose School in Chelsea. He received his BFA from Roger Williams University in Elementary Education and Creative Writing and his Master’s from Salem State University in Elementary Education. In his free time, Dave loves to run. One of his goals in life is to run a marathon in each state and he just finished his 23rd state in Virginia over St. Patrick’s Day weekend. We look forward to keeping Dave running across the camp grounds this summer! ;-)
