Camp Sewataro is steeped in Traditions, and one of them is Fishing with Dan-Dan the Fisherman. Dan-Dan (a.k.a. Dan Nicholson) returns for a record-breaking 46th summer (!) of skillfully teaching generation after generation of Sewataro campers how to fish. “I’m looking forward to another great summer!” he says. Dan is a retired high school teacher, who enjoys spending the “off season” fishing, reading, and traveling with his wife, and being “Papa” to his four beautiful grandchildren – three of whom will be at camp this summer. “Generations of Nicholson children continue to be enriched by the Sewataro experience,” he says. Dan holds a B.A. in Social Studies from Harvard University, and an M.A. in Reading from UMass Boston.
