Sewataro is about 10 miles southwest of Carlisle
We did not have a stop in Carlisle in 2016. Because there is not a stop, the bus fee is discounted by 50% to families in Carlisle. Depending on interest, we could add a stop in Carlisle if demand allowed.
Campers from Carlisle can choose from one of two stops depending on where they live:
- John Glen Middle School (Bedford), 7:48am, 4:24pm
- Rite Aid Pharmacy (71 Lowell St, Concord), 8:00am, 4:12pm
From the Rite Aid stop, the bus travels to stops in Concord and Sudbury and then to Sewataro. The bus arrives at camp around 8:30 a.m. and departs around 3:45 p.m.
You will be greeted at the stop by a bus monitor. Bus monitors are Sewataro staff members that are responsible for the safety, supervision and entertainment of the children on the bus. During the bus ride, monitors will lead songs and games, making the ride an extension of the camp day. At the end of the day, the bus monitor will check your identification against a list of grownups authorized to pick up your child before releasing your child to you.
