Brian Grigsby (Program)

Brian-grigsby

Brian Grigsby is an integral part of our Leadership Team. This summer marks his 7th year as Program Supervisor, and his 9th Sewataro summer overall. Whether overseeing activities, mentoring activity counselors or simply making his legendary flapjacks for breakfast on the overnights, Brian is the man!

No stranger to many of our campers and staff, Brian (known as Mr. Grigsby during the school year), is the beloved P.E. teacher at Peter Noyes Elementary School in Sudbury. A graduate of University of Maine (Physical Education), Brian also holds a Master’s degree in Education (School Administration) from Cambridge College. He enjoys coaching little league, going to the gym, playing golf, biking (especially on beach trails), cooking and reading non-fiction. Brian also recently had a new addition done to his house! Brian’s favorite activity of all is being Dad to his two sons, with whom he loves sharing the magic of camp.

“It’s so special to catch them smiling with friends, or hearing about their day on the ride home…we love to talk about camp, even during the school year. There is no other way I would want to spend my summer.” :)
