Ben Katcher

This summer marks Ben (a.k.a. “BK”)‘s 12th year at Sewataro (his 5th on staff), and he “could not be more excited for the summer!” returning as one of our Tribe Leaders. “Sewataro has had a meaningful and everlasting impact on my life, and now I get to return the favor for my campers.” BK is a graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional H.S., currently attending Brandeis University. At Brandeis, BK can be found playing rugby, editing the sports section of the school newspaper, and continuing along the pre-med track. And speaking of track…BK earned his varsity letter while throwing javelin on the L-S track team. He loves playing basketball, guitar, drawing and eating a good slice of mushroom pizza. Of all the incredible Sewataro memories he’s made over the years, BK says it’s the friendships that have meant the most. “Sewie is a second home and family to me, and has been for over a decade now. As a camper and as a counselor, I’ve made friendships that will last my whole life.”
