Becca Waterman (née Racine) is always a welcome sight at Camp Sewataro, and we are delighted to have her back with us again as the SOAR Head for the first half of 2017. “I’m glad to be back! I love spending the summer outside with such enthusiastic staff members and campers,” says Becca. A Holliston native, Becca previously worked in our camp office for three summers, followed by one summer as Crafts Head, one summer as Creative Arts Head, and one summer as an Extra.
Becca is a Spanish and French teacher at Dover Sherborn High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Providence College (French/Secondary Education), and her Master’s Degree from UMass Boston (Applied Linguistics). In her spare time Becca enjoys hiking with her husband, cooking, singing (especially camp songs!), reading, traveling, and learning new languages.
Fun fact: All of the women in Becca’s family have worked at Sewataro, though never all at the same time.
