Ali Nauen (Swim)

Ali-nauen

Ali is ready for her 2nd summer of teaching swim lessons. “I’m so excited for camp this year, and can’t wait to see all of the new and returning campers!” (Side note: Ali’s also excited for S’mores Week, which is her favorite week of the summer!) She’s a recent graduate of Dana Hall School in Wellesley, and will be an incoming freshman at Denison University in Ohio this fall.

Musical Theater performance is Ali’s primary passion, and this year she served as Performing Arts Head at Dana Hall. Her “big break” came a couple of years ago, when she was cast in the new musical, “Prom Queen,” which heads to NYC in the not-too-distant future. Additionally, Ali was enrolled in the Global Scholars Certificate Program at Dana Hall, where curriculum was focused on inclusion of all people and cultures. “I have been to France and Australia because of this program, have stayed with families there, and have gone to two different schools to promote inclusion of everyone. I will use these principles [at Camp], to make sure everyone has a friend and is enjoying themselves,” she says. In her free time, Ali enjoys spending time with animals, and baking.
