Returning for her second summer at Sewataro, Abby is looking forward to her role as a Bear Tribe Leader this year. “I loved cheering on my campers as they formed new friendships, took risks, and worked together to win pins during activities. This summer, I am especially looking forward to trying new activities such as target paintball, campcraft, archery, and music studio in the Bear Section.” Abby has camp in her blood – a second generation Sewataro counselor, she also attended overnight camp for five summers. “The Camp Sewataro community is so thoughtful, kindhearted, and fun. Each day at camp last summer was filled with new adventures and excitement. I had an absolute blast and I am so grateful for the friendships I made with my campers and co-counselors. I am thrilled to be a Tribe Leader this year!”
Abby will be graduating from The Cambridge School of Weston in June and attending Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota this coming fall. During the school year, Abby is also an assistant teacher in a Kindergarten classroom at her Temple. Abby’s hobbies include biking, swimming, playing tennis (she won the counselor tennis tournament at Sewataro last summer!), traveling with family, and cooking with friends. Her hidden talents include making gimp (“I’m a pro at box-stitch!”), balancing a spoon on her nose, jumping rope on one foot, and hula hooping. And one more fun fact – Abby is a triplet who’s birthday falls on Halloween!
