Dear Friends,

It’s hard to believe that another sensational Sewataro summer has come to a close. The days are long but the summer is short, and eight weeks seem to go by in the blink of an eye. We’ve had dance parties and water games, mystery events and the Olympics, and just about as much fun as we could imagine! From Sports to Nature, Swimming to Crafts, Adventure, Fishing, and everything in between…we hope your child finished their time at camp with new skills and experiences, all wrapped up in the best summer of their lives!

In addition to our focus on getting campers outdoors and active (and off their screens), we pay particular attention to modeling and teaching them important life skills like developing friendships, communicating with others, processing conflicts, working towards a common goal, and many, many more. We want our campers to leave Sewataro feeling more confident, resilient, and connected to their peers. We hope you have noticed this growth in your own child, and that it becomes the springboard to an amazing year at school!

“After our first day at Sewataro last summer, I knew we found our summer home. My children adore their days at camp and they begin counting down to next summer from the moment we leave. As a parent, I cherish seeing them so full of joy and I’m amazed at their growth in confidence from week to week. I’m one of the parents who is always beaming from ear to ear at drop off and pick up because I love everything about it so much — the staff, the camp, the tribe friendships, the activities, the whole experience. It’s an amazing and magical place.”

Once again, thank you for sharing your children with us. Each and every camper (and staff member!) is important to us and contributes to the extraordinary community that is Camp Sewataro. We hope you all have a wonderful school year, and we look forward to welcoming you back into our summer family next year!

Until then,

The Taylors, Monica, and Emmy
