Fun, Activities and Programming

  • Each day begins with campers gathering for the raising of the flag and morning announcements.

  • Campers enjoy a varied, age-appropriate schedule with instruction and encouragement in a very supportive and non-competitive atmosphere.

  • There are three 45-minute morning activities, followed by an hour lunch period & three 45-minute afternoon activities. 

  • Each day includes American Red Cross swimming lessons in the morning and free swim every afternoon.

  • The day closes with snack, group singing, tribe performances and the playing of taps as the flag is lowered.

*Kathy Steege of Red Acre Farm has operated the very popular riding program at Camp Sewataro for many years. It is designed as an introduction to horsemanship and horsecare. Horseback Riding is optional, and costs an additional fee of $40/lesson.
